Ants, spiders, wasps, and rodents top the list. Ants usually trace back to nearby oak trees and work their way toward the kitchen or bathroom. Spiders — including black widows — favor garages, woodpiles, and dark corners, and wasps or yellow jackets build nests under eaves through the warmer months. Rats and mice tend to move in from open land and greenbelt areas as the weather cools. The foothill terrain gives all of them plenty of cover, so household pest activity here runs closer to year-round than seasonal.
We take that seriously. Everything we use is applied according to its product label and California pesticide regulations, and we stick to targeted applications in the areas actually causing problems rather than blanket-spraying the whole property. Before we treat, we take your home and family into account — where kids play, where pets roam — and we only apply product where it’s genuinely needed. For most Auburn-area homes, we recommend service about every 60 days. Pest pressure shifts with the seasons here — what’s active in early summer looks different by fall — so a consistent every-other-month visit lets us stay ahead of things instead of reacting after they’re already inside. That said, not every home needs the same cadence. Properties with lighter pest pressure sometimes do fine with less frequent visits, and we’ll always tell you honestly what yours actually needs.
Both. Some situations — a one-off wasp nest, an isolated ant trail — are genuinely a one-time fix, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case rather than talking you into more. Other issues tend to return if the source isn’t addressed, which is where an ongoing plan makes more sense — steady visits let us catch new activity early instead of waiting for it to become a bigger problem.
